The Devolvement Continues on Merrily

Every time I think I have seen the worst of humankind or, the lowest common denominator of Latino, black or, white trash all I have to do is wait a few days and some new, lower setting of the bar presents itself on national television. Case in point: Recently, in Texas, a ten year old girl was kidnapped, raped and murdered while on vacation with her family. The accused is an illegal who has, twice, been arrested, once deported, yet, for some strange reason managed to sneak back in, get a job, a license and is now charged with the death of this little girl. All a person needs to do is Google Search this stuff and the screen will light up with the countless cases as I just described.

This pandemic has even reached the doorstep of the White House with The Messiah's Auntie Zetuni and his fruitcake uncle from Framingham Mass recently charged with drunk driving. Both are illegals, both are on public assistance and both only got a slap on the wrist. If that was you, or I..Well, need I say more?
Humanity continues to boil itself down to one idiotic singularity. Daytime television is rife with court TV featuring the dumbest cast of characters that Hollywood can't dream up. What is scarier is the so called "judges" who preside over these tabloid kangaroo courts are now getting prime time slots on all the major networks who pander to them for their "legal opinions". Reality TV, in general, isn't just big business simply for the "gawk" factor of the audience but rather there never seems to be any end to how much lower networks can go to bring us the latest in human ignorance.

From the addiction shows, the hoarding shows, Octo-mom, Kate Plus Eight, Real Housewives and Jersey Shore (an unexplainable phenomenon), even the Kardashians; we have made all of these people famous for doing absolutely nothing! None of them made a movie, or won a sporting event, wrote a book that changed the world. They are famous because we made them famous. Now, it has spread to who can be the worst of the worst and receive the largest hits on Youtube. The language is foul, the antics are base, the socio-economic standard is always the same: Either poor white trash, inner city black or gang latino. It is racist and sexist by it's very nature. The women are either whores or single mothers on welfare. The men are either former convicts, high school drop-outs, gang-bangers and/or delinquent fathers. None of them have any education worth a damn and their demeanor is stereo-typical of the societal positions they were raised in.
A typical conversation with them if full of, "..Dem..Dees..Does..", "..I, like said...I, like, was, ya-know, like..". The head bob and the hand on the hip. Talk to the hand.."uhh..uh..no you din'it!". Then there is the American favorite, "...I axed him...".

Sociologists and Child Psychologists have longed warned us about the exposure of too much television to children. The focus was always on the sex and violence. I wonder if they are taking a step back to re-assess their findings now that the younger generations are being exposed to this degeneration of American civility. Considering most of these shows portray young people and are subsequently watched by young people perhaps a little sex and violence from actual created movies and television is the least of a modern parent's worry.

....And That Is The Diatribe....
